Mount Hope Bottle Brawl Leaves Man Stabbed As Bronx Cops Hunt Duo

Police in Mount Hope are asking neighbors to speak up after a man was slashed with a broken bottle during a dispute inside a local business on Thursday, March 5. Investigators say a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the back with a broken glass bottle and hit in the face during a verbal argument at 124 East 176th Street. EMS took him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was reported in stable condition. The pair of suspects ran off on foot and were last seen entering the 174–175 Streets subway station, according to officials.

As reported by Norwood News, which published the NYPD release and photos, police say the attack happened at about 7:15 p.m. The first suspect was described as wearing a black jacket, multicolored pants and white sneakers. The second was last seen in a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers. The images, provided by the NYPD, are being circulated as detectives work to put names to the faces.
