Mayor Zohran Mamdani was questioned if he “supported a United Ireland” ahead of St Patrick’s Day. The mayor said: “I gotta be honest, I haven’t thought enough on that question.”
Mamdani added: “I am incredibly appreciative of the privilege to lead a city where Irish Americans have played such a critical role in this city.”
