SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A man allegedly rambled about the war in Iran and “terrorists walking around” before attacking a Muslim woman in a Brooklyn subway station, police said.
The suspect made the comments while sitting across from the woman on the platform of the southbound D train in the Ninth Avenue subway station in Sunset Park at around 10:50 a.m. on March 17, according to the NYPD.

The man allegedly grabbed the 20-year-old woman and threw her to the ground before spewing the anti-Islamic comments, police said.
Sources said the suspect allegedly taunted the woman about Mayor Zohran Mamdani during the attack. The man also mentioned the war in Iran and claimed terrorists were walking around New York City, authorities said…
