Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced that a 42-year-old man from the Bronx has been charged in connection with a suspected arson incident in South Toms River earlier this month.
Authorities said Tashaun Normand faces two counts of aggravated arson and two counts of possession of destructive devices stemming from a March 23, 2026 incident.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. that day, police and fire crews responded to a Belmont Drive residence after receiving reports of a vehicle fire.
