Sources: Accused killer of Bronx rideshare driver released abroad amid extradition issues

A Bronx family is still searching for justice months after a rideshare driver was gunned down in Mount Hope — and now, the man accused of pulling the trigger is reportedly out of custody overseas.

Police say 55-year-old Isaac Mbolo, an Uber driver, was shot and killed on the morning of Jan. 1 while heading home after a holiday shift. He was found inside his car on Morris Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators identified 24-year-old Ehinel Troncoso Tejada as the suspect in what authorities described as a road-rage shooting. Officials say Tejada fled the country shortly after the killing…
