On March 30, 2026, Troopers from Troop NYC, SP Bronx, arrested Troy Rush, 49, of Detroit, Maine, for multiple counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of an Ammo Feeding Device, and Failure to Safely Store Firearms.
While patrolling in the vicinity of Exit 8 on I-95 in the Bronx, a Trooper stopped a Chevrolet Impala for vehicle and traffic law violations. During a roadside interview, the motorist, identified as Troy Rush, was observed to be in illegal possession of a loaded handgun.
Upon placing Rush into custody and conducting a probable cause search of the vehicle, two more loaded handguns and a loaded 10-round magazine were found, as well as over $11,000 in US Currency…
