The fatal murder of Los Angeles-based drill rapper Avanti Frowner in June 2020 has somewhat reached closure. On Tuesday, the prime suspect in the pharmacy robbery in broad daylight was sentenced to 20 years behind bars. For context, 27-year-old Isiah Garett shot Avanti a dozen times that day, as the robbery went horribly wrong inside a pharmacy.
The verdict has left the deceased rapper’s family in complete shock. They were stunned by the fact that the perpetrator could one day walk freely on the streets on parole. Avanti Frowner’s brother, Roger Frowner Jr., reacted to the news and stated, “Giving him the possibility of parole is crazy.”
