Police: MTA conductor punched in the face after waking up sleeping passenger in the Bronx

An MTA conductor in the Bronx was punched in the face after waking up a sleeping passenger on Friday, police say.

The 58-year-old was putting a Northbound 6 train out of service in Parkchester just after 10:30 p.m.

Police say the conductor attempted to wake up a sleeping man on the train. When the man woke up, they say he punched the conductor multiple times in the face and fled the scene…
