Tom Valenti, a beloved chef and mentor on the New York City and northern New Jersey dining scenes, died on Wednesday after what The New York Times described as a “short, sudden illness.” He was 67.
At the time of his death he was executive chef of Jockey Hollow Bar in Morristown, N.J.
