A routine walk along Lenox Avenue turned violent when a 69-year-old man was struck from behind and knocked to the ground on Feb. 22 in front of 565 Lenox Avenue in Harlem, according to police. The assault happened at about 1:40 p.m. as the man walked along the sidewalk. The attacker ran off and has not been identified, authorities said. The victim’s condition has not been made public, and no arrests have been announced as the investigation continues.
