Four New York men held on $3 million bonds in Greenville cocaine trafficking case

Four men from New York are being held on multi-million-dollar bonds after court documents say they were caught trafficking a large amount of cocaine in Greenville.

According to arrest warrants issued by Greenville police, Joel Figuereo, 29, Steven Furmin, 29, Aaron Garcia, 28, and Freudin Rodriguez, 31, were all arrested Thursday, May 14. Each faces two counts of trafficking in cocaine.

Warrants show the charges involve 400 grams or more of cocaine. In North Carolina, that amount qualifies as a Class D felony, which carries a mandatory prison sentence of 175 to 222 months, along with a minimum $250,000 fine if convicted…
