The NYPD is appealing to the public for help locating the person seen in the attached video and photos who they say is sought in connection with an attempted rape that took place in the Melrose section of The South Bronx.
Police said that on Saturday, May 9, at around 4 a.m., the victim, a 36-year-old woman, was inside a building in the vicinity of East 151st Street and Melrose Avenue, when an unidentified male pulled her into an elevator, pulled her pants down, and attempted to sexually assault her.
They said the suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown, and the victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition. They said the Bronx Special Victims Squad is investigating the incident…
