Police say a burglar got away with a safe containing $100,000 during a theft spree that targeted two Cypress Hills businesses.
The thefts happened between May 26 and May 30 and followed a similar pattern – breaking into a business and getting away with cash.
The NYPD says the man got away with the largest amount on May 26 when he broke into a business near Atlantic Avenue and Crescent Street at around 2:15 a.m. Once the man got inside, he swiped the safe holding the lump sum and took off running toward Atlantic Avenue…
