Interstate drug trafficking operation disbanded, Hempstead man among defendants

Several men have been indicted on conspiracy and drug possession charges for allegedly operating an interstate drug trafficking ring that shipped narcotics to Nassau County and New York City through the U.S. Postal Service.

Prosecutors said the case began in June 2023, when investigators learned that large amounts of drugs were being shipped through the U.S. mail. Packages were sent to addresses in Queens and Hempstead, including a hotel where one defendant worked, often using mismatched names.
