A late-night walk in Harlem turned violent Monday when a 50-year-old man was slashed across the face in front of 304 West 117th Street, just before 11:20 p.m., according to police. The attacker took off, and detectives are now asking New Yorkers to help track him down.
The assault happened at about 11:19 p.m., when, police say, a man approached the victim and cut the left side of his face. The suspect has not yet been identified.
NYPD Crime Stoppers has put out a wanted notice with still images and a short description, urging anyone who recognizes the person of interest to get in touch.
