STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Staten Island high school has secured the support of its community for an expansion that will bring new classrooms and athletic facilities to its students.
Community Board 1 voted unanimously Tuesday to approve construction plans for a project at St. Peter’s Boys High School meant to ready the school for its future needs.
St. Peter’s Boys High School President John Fodera said an expansion to the school’s main building will be the first step in the two-part project. The school hopes to break ground in mid-July, he said…
