Even inside an NYPD stationhouse, things can turn violent in a hurry. Last Sunday, a 66-year-old man was assaulted inside the NYPD’s 100th Precinct on Rockaway Beach Boulevard, according to a police tipline post. The assailant allegedly punched the man in the face, hit him with a purse and bit his left arm before bolting east along Rockaway Beach Boulevard. Investigators have released still images of the suspect and are asking the public to help put a name to the face.
The images and a short writeup went live on July 4 on the Facebook page of NYPD Crime Stoppers, which states that the attack happened on June 28 inside the 100th Precinct at 70-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard.
