NYPD officer’s family member fatally shot in the eye in Harlem: sources

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A family member of an NYPD officer was fatally shot in the eye in Harlem on Saturday, police sources said Monday.

Authorities responded to the shooting in an apartment near Fredrick Douglas Boulevard and Macombs Place at around 1:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The 24-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the right eye and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man has not been identified. The cop’s identity was also not revealed…
