STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A coordinated NYPD operation involving multiple precincts shut down an attempted car meet, drag racing event and street takeover Friday night on Staten Island, according to police.
In a social media post shared Friday evening, the NYPD’s 121st Precinct said officers teamed up with law enforcement units across the borough and the city to target the gathering.
