2 teens busted in NYC carjacking rampage that ended with one menace trying to run over a cop: NYPD

Two menacing teens were busted in a wild armed Brooklyn carjacking spree late Thursday – that ended with one of them attempting to mow down a cop, police said.

The rampage began around 7:40 p.m. when the two 16-year-olds cornered a 24-year-old man on East 16th Street near Avenue P in Homecrest, flashed a gun and tried to rob him, authorities said.

But the quick-thinking victim took off and left them empty-handed, police said.
