Elderly man killed, two others injured, as cargo truck careens onto busy NYC sidewalk

A elderly man was killed and two other people were injured when a graffiti-covered flatbed truck careened onto a curb and ran them down at a busy Lower Manhattan intersection Thursday morning, cops said.

The 66-year-old driver was turning right on Bowery from Canal Street in Chinatown at around 10:20 a.m. when the cargo-laden vehicle hurtled onto the sidewalk and killed the 77-year-old man and left two women, ages, 71 and 52, hospitalized, authorities said.

A photo from the scene obtained by The Post shows the three victims sprawled out on the pavement – two right next to each other and the third a couple feet away.
