Donald Trump’s childhood home in New York City has sold for just under $2 million following a $500,000 renovation.
The Associated Press and the New York Postreported on Friday, Sept. 11, that the house — where the president lived until he was 4 years old, at which point the family moved into a bigger house nearby — sold for $1.93 million.
The Tudor-style residence, located in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens, was built by Trump’s developer father, Fred Trump, in 1940. The sale price was disclosed after an unnamed buyer entered into a contract in July 2026.
Developer Tommy Lin purchased the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home last year for $835,000. Before that, the home sat vacant for years, and the Post reported that it sustained water damage and developed a mold issue from a burst pipe, and that feral cats were found on the property…
