State Police K-9 Finds Cocaine and Crack in Vehicle on Hutchinson Parkway; Maine and New Hampshire Couple Arrested for Felonies

On September 15, 2026, members of the New York State Police Troop K Community Stabilization Unit (CSU) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling northbound on the Hutchinson River Parkway in the Town of Harrison for a violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

The operator was identified as Brent J. Perry, 45, of Dover, New Hampshire, and the passenger was identified as Amber L. Rondeau, 41, of Lebanon, Maine.

During the investigation, State Police K9 Fortini conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle revealed approximately 491 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, approximately 97.4 grams of crack cocaine, multiple glass smoking pipes containing burnt crack cocaine residue, and small quantities of amphetamine/dextroamphetamine and buprenorphine/naloxone pills…
