NYU Langone Health became the first hospital to earn a top ranking from Vizient Inc., the largest U.S. healthcare improvement company, for five consecutive years.
Vizient — which evaluates hospital performance based on quality and safety data, patient experience and mortality and infection rates — named NYU Langone the best health system in the United States. By analyzing over 1,600 hospitals in 49 states, the company aims to help institutions benchmark performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
