A man in his 50s was killed after being dragged by an A train at a Brooklyn subway station Monday evening when his bag became caught in closing train doors, according to authorities.
The fatal incident happened just before 5:50 p.m. at the Utica Avenue station near Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Investigators said the man’s bag became trapped in the doors of a southbound A train as it was preparing to leave the station. It wasn’t immediately clear if he was getting on or off the train at the time.
