McDonald’s is trying something very different with a one-day chef’s table in New York City. Called Inside the Golden Arches, the reservation-only event is set for October 29 and will be led by Top Chef Season 22 winner Tristen Epps-Long.
What the chef’s table includes
Inside the Golden Arches is set at a McDonald’s counter in New York City on October 29. McDonald’s says guests will hear from chefs and experts about the ingredients and preparation behind some of the chain’s best-known menu items.
The Quarter Pounder with Cheese is the centerpiece of the experience. McDonald’s says guests will get a front-row view of how the burger comes together, with details that include patties made with 100% beef that is never frozen.
According to McDonald’s, those beef patties arrive at local restaurants two to three times a week. The company also says the patties only hit the grill once an order is placed, which is a big part of what this event is meant to show in person.
What else is on the tasting menu
