STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A Brooklyn man who was helping feed the drug supply on Staten Island is headed to prison. Richard Barrett, 38, of the 8600 block of Fort Hamilton Parkway, was indicted in September on charges stemming from transactions with undercover cops between May and August of 2023. The defendant had since pleaded guilty in state Supreme Court, St. George, to second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
