A woman was charged with murder Wednesday for allegedly running over her beau’s ex-girlfriend in a Brooklyn parking lot earlier this month, cops said.
Naomi Broomes, 33, was busted around 12:30 p.m. for allegedly mowing down 24-year-old Shakira Serrano in the parking lot of the victim’s building within East New York’s Pink Houses on Loring Avenue near Crescent Street around 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11, police said.
The deadly caught-on-video clash – which NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny described Tuesday as “borderline domestic violence” – began with “some pushing and shoving,” the police official said.
But then Broomes hopped behind the wheel of her beau’s 2008 Mercury and attempted to run over Serrano, Kenny and sources said.
Broomes missed Serrano – so she decided to circle the car around the parking lot, Kenny said.
