A Texas family’s birthday trip to New York City proved to be a nightmare when their 10-year-old son fell ill suddenly and had to be put into a coma in an intensive care unit.
Riker Stippick was taken by surprise by his family to New York City for his birthday, where he enjoyed his first piece of New York City pizza and saw the well-known Broadway production of Hamilton.
He desired to visit the Weehawken dueling arena where Aaron Burr and Hamilton engaged in combat, Riker’s father, David Stippick, stated to the regional press.
The Boy On His 10th Birthday
Stippick claimed that the last thing he worried about on his son’s tenth birthday was that he would get seriously sick.
Stippick stated, You kind of assume that if your child is happy and healthy at age 10, they’re going to stay that way.
Riker’s health deteriorated on the drive to the World Trade Center, and he told his parents he had the “worst headache” of his life.
The Boy Was Feeling Seriously Sick
The birthday kid puked a short while later and rested next to a bench.
