Man, 68, punched during argument in broad daylight in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 68-year-old man was viciously attacked during an argument in Queens on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

The attack happened around 2:50 p.m. near the Whitestone Expressway and 3rd Avenue. A man allegedly approached the victim and started arguing with him, per police.

The suspect then punched the 68-year-old man in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, according to authorities.

The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The suspect fled the scene to parts unknown, per police.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt, light-colored shorts and black sandals, according to authorities.
