NEW YORK (PIX11) — With fall just around the corner, preparations for one major holiday event are already underway.
Nickelodeon has unveiled their newest additions joining this year’s 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, Marshall the dalmatian pup from PAW Patrol and a freshly revamped Dora the Explorer.
Marshall the dalmatian will fly alongside long standing Nickelodeon favorites in the parade like SpongeBob SquarePants and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Meanwhile Dora will take to the streets as a balloon-float hybrid.
Long time watchers of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade may remember the original Dora balloon from 2005 as well as the Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure float in 2010.
The classic SpongeBob SquarePants balloon will also get a fresh look with the addition of the “Garriage,” an electric-powered yellow carriage drawn by SpongeBob’s pet snail named Gary.
All of the new balloons and floats will take to the skies and streets for the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday Nov. 28.
