NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man who spit on and groped a young girl as she walked down a Queens street on Friday morning, police said.
The 12-year-old was walking near 71st Street and 54th Avenue in Maspeth just after 8 a.m. on Friday when the suspect approached.
He spit on her and then grabbed her buttocks before fleeing to parts unknown, police said.
EMS transported the child to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition, officials said.
Police released surveillance images of the alleged assailant on Sunday, and described him as an approximately 25-year-old man. He is said to have a medium build, about 5’8” and 170 pounds.
