EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A teenager was shot multiple times inside a Brooklyn deli overnight Thursday, according to the NYPD.
It happened just after midnight at 627 Blake Ave. in East New York. A 16-year-old boy was shot twice in the left leg, police said.
A video posted to Citizen App showed first responders and ambulances with flashing lights outside the deli.
The teenager was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.
The suspect is described as a man last seen wearing a dark blue Nike hoodie, Christmas pajama pants and red and black sneakers. He fled the scene on foot going northbound on Sheffield Avenue, according to authorities.
