Crown Heights dance studio reopens week after quadruple stabbing

Students and instructors at Ms. K’s Dance Academy breathed a sigh of relief Saturday as doors reopened for registration following a quadruple stabbing there last week. Police say

at the dance and double dutch studio located on Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights. “You rent out your studio for two to three events just to make ends meet,” explained Kyaisha Max-Macarthy, owner and Director of Ms. K’s Dance Academy. The studio was trashed and Max-Macarthy was left to clean up the mess a week before the season began. “Our place was just all in disarray. We’ve had to do a lot this week to prepare for our students,” she said. No arrests have been made. ”
