Man hit in head with glass bottle on Brooklyn street: NYPD

KENSINGTON, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A man was hit in the head with a glass bottle on a Brooklyn street Monday after refusing to give the suspect money, police said.

The assailant attacked the 24-year-old man after asking him for some cash near 204 Ditmas Ave. in Kensington at around 9 a.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was treated for a cut on the head at the hospital, police said.

The suspect ran off after the incident and was last seen heading southbound on Ditmas Avenue, police said. There have been no arrests.
