NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage on Friday of a female sought for allegedly slamming a 73-year-old woman into the ground and beating her in an attack in Manhattan last week.
The attack happened at approximately 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, in front of 76 Fulton St. in the Financial District.
According to the NYPD, the victim was approached by the suspect who began to repeatedly punch her in the face.
She then slammed the victim to the ground and kicked her multiple times.
The suspect fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Gold Street.
The victim was not hospitalized.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white cardigan sweater, black leggings, gray sneakers, and carrying a white purse.
