Trio wanted for robbing man at knifepoint on Brooklyn L train

NEW YORK(1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Friday released surveillance footage of a trio wanted for robbing man at knifepoint on a Brooklyn L train earlier this week.

It happened at approximately 9:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, on the platform at the Jefferson Street L train station in Bushwick, authorities said.

According to police, three suspects approached a 20-year-old man, displayed a knife, and forcefully removed his cellphone and a sum of currency from his person.

The suspects then fled the location on foot.

There were no injuries reported.
