New NYC trash bin rules will aid in ‘war on rats’: DSNY commissioner

NEW YORK (PIX11) — New York City’s new trash bin rules went into effect this week.

Buildings with one to nine residential units are required to use garbage bins with secure lids.

New York City Department of Sanitation Commissioner Jessica Tisch joined “PIX on Politics” on Friday to talk about the impact of the new rule.
