NEW YORK (PIX11) — Longer days are finally ahead in New York.
Daylight saving time starts this Sunday at 2 a.m., when clocks jump forward one hour to 3 a.m. It’ll mean one less hour of sleep but one extra hour of daylight.

Starting March 9, the sun won’t set until after 6 p.m. in New York City, reaching just past 7 p.m. by the end of the month.
Then, on Nov. 2, clocks will fall back again…
