CARROLL GARDENS – POLICE SAY A man was shot and injured near Smith-Ninth Street subway station in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened just before 4 p.m., apparently in the lower portion of the elevated F and G station, according to ABC News, with police spotted spreading crime scene tape around the station entrance and outside local shops. Commuters were barred from entering the station.
Officers assisted a man in his thirties suffering from gunshot wounds to both legs. The victim was transported to a local hospital. He is expected to survive…
