The incident, reported to the New York Police Department’s 121 Precinct at approximately 10:50 p.m., has left residents shaken and police searching for an elusive suspect.
According to authorities, the victim was approached by an unidentified male who opened fire, discharging several rounds and striking the man five times in the body. The assailant then fled on foot, disappearing into the night. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in stable condition despite his injuries.
