Shooting Rocks Staten Island: Middletown Man Injured, Suspect at Large

Staten Island, NY, March 30, 2025 – A quiet night in Staten Island’s Middletown neighborhood turned violent when a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in front of 34 Andros Avenue on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The incident, reported to the New York Police Department’s 121 Precinct at approximately 10:50 p.m., has left residents shaken and police searching for an elusive suspect.

According to authorities, the victim was approached by an unidentified male who opened fire, discharging several rounds and striking the man five times in the body. The assailant then fled on foot, disappearing into the night. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in stable condition despite his injuries.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, last seen wearing a black face mask, black jacket, black pants, and black sneakers.
