NYPD: Raid nets drugs, paraphernalia in jewelry box of Staten Island woman

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities allege that drugs and paraphernalia were found in a jewelry box when the NYPD raided the home of a 42-year-old woman after she sold drugs to an undercover officer in Concord.

Officers armed with a search warrant swarmed the basement apartment of Jaclyn Kanowicz in the 1800 block of Clove Road near Targee Street on March 11 at about 1:50 p.m. The defendant was standing in the back of the location when police arrived, according to the criminal complaint based on an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island…
