Duo on bikes beat up victims in their 70s in UES attack

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two women on bikes accused of beating up victims in their 70s in an Upper East Side attack last week.

Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, in the vicinity of East 79th Street and 5th Avenue, a 75-year-old man, a 72-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman were approached by the two suspects on bicycles.

According to police, the suspects struck the 75-year-old man in his left eye with a closed fist, causing pain and swelling. The women were shoved to the ground resulting in injuries to their bodies…
