“Boardwalk Empire” and “Dawsons Creek” actor Michael Pitt has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse.
Pitt, 44, was arrested and arraigned May 2 at Kings Supreme Criminal Court in Brooklyn. The charges, which stemmed from four domestic incidents from 2020 through 2021, include two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and additional counts of assault injury with a blunt object and strangulation, according to TMZ.
Authorities claim the events occurred at the actor’s home in Brooklyn with his girlfriend at the time. Pitt is alleged to have fondled the ex-girlfriend on one occasion, then sexually assaulting and striking her with a wooden plank on another occasion.
