QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — More than a dozen suspects are accused of running a multi-million-dollar car theft ring across New York City and the suburbs, officials said Thursday.
Twenty defendants have been indicted in the wide-ranging scheme to steal cars from Hondas to Dodges and BMWs and Land Rovers throughout the New York City area, authorities said.

“It is one of the biggest auto theft rings we have seen in the last decade,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
The defendants allegedly worked in groups; one would steal the cars, another group was the brokers, and the third crew was the black-market dealers, prosecutors said…
