Suspect in violent knifepoint robbery of off-duty NYPD officer is arrested in Virginia

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A suspect in the violent robbery of an off-duty NYPD officer in the Bronx over the weekend was arrested Tuesday in Virginia, police said.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tish wrote on X that Taveon Hargrove, 23, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals and NYPD detectives. A second suspect remains at large.
