16-year-old boy shot in Bed-Stuy, just one day before mayor’s record-low gun violence post

A 16-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in the stomach in Bedford-Stuyvesant over the weekend—just a day before Mayor Eric Adams announced that New York City is seeing its lowest number of shootings in recorded history.

Police say they got a 911 call just before 5 p.m. Saturday about a shooting inside 1831 Fulton St., between Patchen and Ralph Avenues.
