NYPD arrests several as protests disrupt ICE operations: ‘You will not stop us’

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The Department of Homeland Security thanked the NYPD for arresting rioters who interfered with immigration enforcement in a X post on Saturday evening.

According to a social media post from DHS, up to 150 rioters interrupted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations outside a federal building in Lower Manhattan.

“Unlike in Los Angeles, the local police department quickly responded to the riots. So far, the NYPD has made five arrests,” the social media post read.
