Carjacking ends with a police shooting, driver’s sister: “glad he is alive”

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. (PIX11) — An armed man was left with serious injuries after being shot by police during a carjacking investigation, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities say law enforcement confronted the armed suspect on Porete Avenue in North Arlington just before 5 p.m., in connection with an armed carjacking investigation that originated in Kearny, New Jersey.
