NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police were searching Monday for a man who allegedly yelled profanities at a woman at a Brooklyn subway stop, telling her to “go back to your country” before hitting her with his cane.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force released images of the suspect, who is believed to be between 55 and 65 years old.
The 29-year-old victim was standing in the mezzanine area of the Kings Highway B/Q station in Gravesend around 12:45 p.m. Thursday when the man “began yelling profanities at her and that she should go back to her country,” police said.
